Description: Italian carved gilt wood mirror from the 1940s. Intricately carved wood frame with gilding on the outside rim and off-white paint on the inside. Structurally intact, with a distressed look since the off-white paint has  considerably been rubbed off, exposing the wood underneath.

Description: Rare glass and brass wall lights (model 8583) by Harald Notini for Böhlmarks from the 1940s. Brushed brass structure with blown glass diffusers, textured on the outside with floral glass decorations. In addition, each light has a long leaf-like clear glass element inserted into a brass holder. Very nice original condition with just a bit of patina on the top of the backplates. One original brass E27 socket with new wiring.

Description: Rare pair of large dual-glass wall lights by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, circa 1950. Large heart-shaped and curved glass elements are mounted on a slender brass frame. Sandwiched between the clear glass is a single original brass and ceramic E27 socket with new wiring. Nice original condition with partially heavy patina on the brass.

Description: Fine French Art Deco patinated brass sconces from the 1930s. Dark patinated tulip shades with a heart-shaped ribbon decoration in cast brass and small satin glass diffusers (one with a small chip) on the bottom. Originally a dark-grey mottled patina, this has developed a ‘dramatic life’ of its own over the years. The inside of the cones have been professionally repainted. One E27 socket each with new wiring.

Description: Classic Jean Prouvé style French potence swing lamp from the 1950s. Red-painted iron and a swing mechanism that allows for effortless 180º movement. The design and dimensions of the backplate and other elements are identical to those produced by the Ateliers Prouvé but we cannot provide any provenance to trace its lineage. Nice original condition with some wear to the original paint. We currently have eight of these available with slightly varying lengths – most likely they were custom manufactured for a specific site. Can be configured with original B22 sockets or E27 sockets as depicted.
