Description: Rare Italian dual-color cut glass mirror, attributed to Luigi Brusotti from the 1940s. Very high-quality craftsmanship, with superbly detailed floral decorations in the blue mirror border (each pane individually styled), and a continuous brass frame matching the intricate silhouette. Very nice original condition with just a bit of patina on the mirror. One of the screw-covers on the central mirror is missing.

Probably a sole specimen, this was a custom design for the hydropower plants of Oulujoki Oy, where staff and hospitality facilities where equipped with furniture by Artek and lighting by Tynell.
