Description: Rare model 2538 table lamp by Bröderna Malmströms from 1932. Lyrical cast brass base, patinated in “Japan oxidation” developed by Bröderna Malmströms a few years earlier. The highly stylized human and canine figures (reminiscent of Karl Hagenauer) are intertwined with the curved stem which holds a custom paper shade based on the original design. Very nice original condition with minor wear. One E27 socket with new wiring.
