Description: Rare large Austrian Jugendstil brass wall light from the very early part of the 20th century. Large cast brass backplate (mounted on a wooden base) with a bold arm of organically formed sheet brass. There is heavy patina throughout the brass elements as this was likely designed and used in a public space. One original brass and ceramic E27 socket with new wiring. Depicted with a globe bulb, 9.5cm/3.7″ diameter.
