Grand Italian 12-Arm Chandelier, Late 1940s

Description: Rare grand 12-arm Italian brass chandelier from the late 1940s attributed to early Stilnovo production. Sensuous curved brass arms with scalloped socket covers and stylized lime (linde) leaves applied throughout. All lacquered parts have been professionally repainted in their original off-white color. Each arm has an original brass E14 socket with new wiring. The original stem is in two parts (20inches/50cm each) to allow for different heights.

Description: Superb Kalmar table lamps with large hand shaped Murano glass domes on brass fixtures. The heavily textured massive glass is clear with bold strands of tiny bubbles seemingly painted into the glass. Each glass shade sits atop a brass stand with a beautifully aged patina. Very good condition with three brass colored E27 sockets each and label underneath the base.

Flavio Poli Sommerso Chandelier for Seguso, circa 1960

Description: Gorgeous Flavio Poli cascading chandelier for Seguso with three unusually large ‘Sommerso’ glass shades. Sommerso (lit. “submerged” in Italian), or “sunken glasses”, is a form of artistic Murano glass that typically has two layers of contrasting colors, which are formed by dipping a gather of colored glass into another molten glass and then blowing the gather into the desired shape.
Each of the glass bodies measures 25 cm in height and has a width of 10cm. Very good original condition with one original brass and ceramic E14 socket per glass with textile wiring. The canopy with three arms is gold-plated.

Description: Rare pair of Italian flush mounts from the 1940s with hand-sculpted textured glass diffusers. A minimalist patinated brass backplate holds a large, thick glass body with a very heavy texture which was manually applied – as if the creator used a tool to stir around in the yet liquid glass in order to create the texture. Each fixture has two original brass and ceramic E27 sockets with new wiring.

Large Stilnovo Pendant, 1950s

Description: Very rare Stilnovo pendant from the late 1950s. The oversize aluminum shade is lacquered in a strong dark orange on the outside and off-white on the inside. Underneath is a tiered structure of white lacquered and polished aluminum rims with a curved glass diffuser in the center. The glass has a very fine grid texture for light dispersion/diffusion. Very nice original condition with minor wear to the paint and original Stilnovo label on the inside of the shade. One original E27 socket with new wiring. Drop height can be adjusted up to 63inches/160cm.

Description: Delightful Mid-Century tripod table or desk lamp attributed to Ernest Igl. His trademark use of perforations of varying size is taken to the extreme in this gem of a table lamp. The light effect is simply magnificent and even when switched off the density of perforations give this lamp an incredible weightlessness. Very good original condition with some patina to the brass parts and minimal wear to the paint. One original brass E14 socket with new wiring.
