Description: Elegant Austrian mid-century ceiling light from the 1940-1950s, attributed to Hagenauer Werkstätten. The large shade is made of highly polished copper-plated aluminum, varnished to preserve the pale rosé color of freshly polished copper — a technique that was pioneered by Hagenauer and used in several lamps and objects from this period. The tapered wood stem is lacquered in off-white with a polished brass canopy. Two brass E27 sockets with new wiring.

A forrest-green lacquered shade and a large “raw glass” disc-diffuser with a chipped edge and frosted concentric circles.
