Very delicate design with filigree brass and ivory-colored glass elements and a ribbed glass diffuser which is of a slight darker color. Heavy patina on the brass elements and the stem, which due to its two-part construction allows for different heights. One original brass and ceramic E27 socket with new wiring.

Description: Large sconces designed by Piet Cohen for RAAK in the 1970s. Dubbed ‘Schelpdier’ (Dutch for shellfish) these consist of two overlapping cast aluminum elements for an indirect light. Coated in matte wrinkle paint, brown on the outside and off-white on the inside, with some patina due to usage outdoors. One ceramic E27 socket with new wiring.
