Description: Rare Swedish painted iron and wood chandelier (attributed to Bjerkås Armatur) from the 1940s. Brass canopy and chain with a centerpiece decorated with two wood globes. Six elegantly curved arms with loop decorations and scalloped bobèches. The off-white lacquered parts have been professionally repainted in their original color and there is a bit of patina on the brass and wood elements. Six original E27 sockets with new wiring and new paper socket covers. The shades (which are most likely from the time) are in very good shape with a light patina.

Large cast brass backplate (mounted on a wooden base) with a bold arm of organically formed sheet brass. There is heavy patina throughout the brass elements as this was likely designed and used in a public space. One original brass and ceramic E27 socket with new wiring. Depicted with a globe bulb, 9.5cm/3.7″ diameter.
